Part.1 – Enterprise Introduction
China National Coal Group Corp , Business scope: coal production and trading, coal chemical industry, power generation and so on.
This project helped the customer who is using the legacy PBX upgrade to IP communication system, and keep the user's current analog phones.
The enterprise has 1,100 people, the phone line is 30B+D, and the new system needs to support the Signaling System No.7(SS7).
The enterprise's current dispatching system and legacy PBXs of the branches are connected with each other using Signaling System No.7(SS7).
Part.2 – Enterprise Requirements & Solutions
Requirement 1: Customer requires that the IP phone system can support 1100 people to communicate, and support software expansion in the future.
Equiinet's solution: We selected a Dell server for the customer and installed SINA system. The system supports the expansion of 1100~3000 registrations (without adding hardware, only increasing by software licenses).
Meanwhile, SINA supports several phones using one extension number, import and export of extension tables, virtual machine deployment, high-availability, etc.
Requirement 2: Enterprises need to use SS7 for incoming and outgoing calls.
Equiinet's solution: The enterprise was decorated with the EQ-4E1 gateway, which supports SS7. The gateway can be connected with SINA system through SIP protocol. After connecting with SINA, it can utilize the customer's original phone line for incoming and outgoing calls.
Requirement 3: The enterprise required that the SINA could be connected with the dispatching system and the legacy PBXs of the branches for free calls between other branches.
Equiinet's solution: Due to the dispatching system and the legacy PBX being connected with the SS7, Equiinet team utilized the E1 gateway to connect the SINA with the dispatching system and the PBX. After configuring, It can make free calls between all branches.
Requirement 4: Enterprises want to see the incoming and outgoing calls records of factory and dispatching systems.
Equiinet's solution: SINA acts as a primary system. After configuration, the outgoing calls from the factory and dispatching systems will pass through the SINA.
Incoming calls to the factory and dispatching system also go through the SINA. So that all incoming and outgoing call records can be checked on SINA.
Requirement 5: Enterprises require that SINA extension outgoing call authority can be controlled, such as: some extensions can't call domestic, some extensions can't call international, etc.
Equiinet's solution: SINA has the function of extension outgoing call authority management, which can control the authority of extensions, such as: international, domestic, local, council.
